I have read quite a few books on dating and courtship.They all have different ideas but I like hearing them. I've read: Christian Courtship in and Oversexed World I Kissed Dating Goodbye ABC's of Finding a Good Husband Three to Get Married by Fulton J Sheen is a very good book to read.
But the question that naturally arises is “How far is too far?
In the beginning of a romantic relationship the intimacy is similar to friendship intimacy. You show her the highest respect by not using her or any other woman sexually or otherwise. From this develops a deep trust, the ability to feel safe with one another.
You begin by spending time with a woman to get to know her better. This is where healthy intimacy in dating can develop.
After all, some may argue (and some do) that they are not seeking sexual pleasure in their sexual encounters, but just to show affection.
What, then, would be another reasonable criterion to judge by? If an activity is by its nature highly stimulating, then it belongs only in marriage.
