Ps3 crashes when updating gta 5
It usually stops around 950-1050 mb and won't continue.
The animation either slows downs or stops and in all cases the music stops after a while. I have checked my availible storage on my PS3 and I have over 100Gb left so I dont think storage is the issue.

HI, I GOT A TEMPORAL SOLUTION (PS3 IS THE SYSTEM THAT I HAVE) YOU NEED TO DELETE ALL THE UPDATES, THEN RE-DOWNLOAD THEM ALL EXCEPT THE LAST ONE(1.21).
Thanks for the reply Tried that this morning, I found my problem.I also updated to the latest patch 1.18, and reloaded the game before I started the install of the 8gb as it didn't work before.It got stuck again so I stopped the installation and I don't know what to do next.My ps3 is located in a pretty tight spot so is there a chance something is blocking the fan and harming the installation? The game is a used copy so is there a chance that could be the problem?The game loads fine on the initial bootup but the installation doesn't work. I had my wifi off for the install as it is not needed, and the first two times I tried it with wifi on, it didn't work.
