Events took place throughout September 2015 across the South West from St Ives and Newquay in Cornwall to Clevedon and Bath, bringing great cinema to audiences young and old through pedal power.Partners in this project include Afrika Eye Film Festival, Bath Film Festival, Cornwall Film Festival, Carn to Cove, Curzon Clevedon, Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival and Watershed. It took the team seven years to complete the design and they are now ready to test it out in the real world BLOODHOUND has reached 1,000mph, but only in a computer model (pictured). But this is now the real world and there might be times when the team has to (metaphorically) put on the brakes and ask themselves some difficult questions. The recent signing of major deals means The Bloodhound Project now has sufficient funding pledged to complete the car and start the countdown to high speed testing at the Hakskeen Pan, Northern Cape, South Africa, in Autumn next year.
